Newtom VGi

I was recently able to work with the Newtom VGi CBCT scanner again.  It's the Mercedes of CBCT units designed for overall head and neck imaging for a fully expanded practice.  It's also one of the most expensive CBCT units as well so it has the Mercedes price tag.   A real joy to work with one of these units again.

CBCT Interpretation course

Attending and lecturing at a CBCT Interpretation course with Mr Dick Greenan.  It was wonderful to be back in a course with my mentor and to listen to his lecturing once again.  I was able to lecture for about 45 minutes on taking a good stable CT scan,  networking, and storage for that data in a practice.

NAS (Networked Attached Storage) is what is needed for Data Networking and Storage

A NAS system is the latest thing to run your practice with all of the electronic data created by a modern practice and will replace your current server.   It is built with redundancy so that if a drive crashes it is backed up on one of the other 3 drives.  Ask your IT professional in your practice about the possibilities.

Sleep/Airway course in Atlanta

I attended a sleep/airway course this weekend to try to get to grips on the thoughts and theories of this aspect of dentistry.  I haven't been involved to much in this and wanted to learn more at how Xray namely CBCT 3D can be put into place.  We all know what CBCT technology can do but what is the implementation?  Thats what I want to try to get a hold of.
